Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku has announced that member Kazami Nonoka has been diagnosed with COVID-19. 

Since the end of last month, Kobayashi Kaho, Nakayama Riko, Kashiwagi Hinata, and Hoshina Mirei were confirmed one after another to have COVID-19. After breaking out with a fever on the 5th, Kazami was re-tested after being tested last month and was confirmed positive for the virus. She will be recuperating under the guidance of the health center. 

Kazami along with Sakuragi Kokona and Kokubo Yuno are new members of Ebichu who recently passed an audition in May. Their first performance is scheduled for August 21 and 22 at the group's annual outdoor live.
