On August 28th, Johnny's & Associates announced that Snow Man member Abe Ryohei has tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to the announcement, Abe conducted the PCR test ahead of his appearance on a TV program and was confirmed positive for the virus on the 26th. While he didn't have any symptoms at the time he was tested, he is currently experiencing a fever, sore throat, and alterations in his senses of smell and taste. He will continue to recuperate and monitor his condition under the guidance of the health center. 

After Abe's positive diagnosis, the remaining eight members were tested and have all received negative results. Reportedly, no persons of close contact have been identified. Furthermore, as Abe had entered Johnny's facilities in the past several days, those facilities have been disinfected.

Consequently, the group's appearance in 'FNS Laugh & Music ~Uta to Warai no Saiten~' on the 28th has been canceled.
