On September 15, Sakurai Sho attended the Japan premiere event for Arashi's live film 'ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×20 FILM Record of Memories' at Marunouchi Piccadilly. During this event, it was announced that the advanced screening of the film will take place on the group's CD debut day, November 3, then will be released in theaters across Japan on November 26.

This features the finale of the group's 20th-anniversary tour 'ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×20' which was held at Tokyo Dome on December 23, 2019. It was directed by Tsutsumi Yukihikoand a total of 125 cameras were used to capture the concert footage.

The film got its world premiere at the '24th Shanghai International Film Festival' which took place earlier in June. Sakurai announced, "The advanced screening will take place on our debut anniversary day, November 3, at Dolby Cinema. Then on November 26, which is strangely Ohno Satoshi's birthday, it will be released in theaters nationwide."

September 15 is the day that Arashi formed on a cruise ship off Hawaii back in 1999. "To make this announcement on the anniversary day of our formation, September 15, and to release it on our debut anniversary day, November 3. These were dates that the five of us and the staff had been set on, so I feel happy to finally announce it," he said.

Sakurai also expressed, "Director Tsusumi and most of all, Matsumoto Jun poured all of their soul into creating this concert, so I hope to reach many people who have never experienced Arashi's concerts before."

When asked about Matsumoto's impressions on the film, Sakurai shared, "The first time I saw Matsumoto this year was to watch this film. Just the two of us. When the end roll came out, it says 'Directed By JUN MATSUMOTO.' Matsumoto was really embarrassed. I wonder if he felt uneasy. But for me, as a member, I felt proud.
