On September 4, Golden Bomber's Kiryuin Sho announced his marriage to a non-celebrity woman. 

Kiryuin explained that he decided to go public with his marriage as it would eventually get picked up by media. He commented, "I'm sure there are fans who don't want to hear about it, but from today, September 4th onward, I predict that the possibility of me touching on this matter again would be when there is 'childbirth,' 'divorce,' or 'when the safety of my family is threatened.'"

Kiryuin continued, "What I prioritize in my life is the band. That hasn't changed until now, and it won't change in the future. From tomorrow, I will continue my activities in Golden Bomber focusing on music and laughter. I will do my best so that everyone can have a good time, so please continue to support me. I am thankful to all of my fans who always cheer me on." 

According to Kiryuin's agency, he is not living with his wife and she is not pregnant at the time. Kiryuin is the second member of the band to get married following Utahiroba Jun, who welcomed his second son just last month.
