Kanjani8's new song "Inazuma Blues" will be used as the theme song for Ikuta Toma's starring film 'Mogura no Uta FINAL' that will be released in theaters on November 19.
Based on a manga by Takahashi Noboru, this is the final installment of the 'Mogura no Uta' film series directed by Miike Takashi and written by Kudo Kankuro. Ikuta reprises the role of Kikukawa Reiji as he sets out on his final mission of preventing the smuggling of 600 billion yen in drugs. It will also star Tsutsumi Shinichi, Naka Riisa, Fukikoshi Mitsuru, Endo Kenichi, Minagawa Sarutoki, Iwaki Koichi, Okamura Takashi, Nanao, Suzuki Ryohei, and Takizawa Karen.
In the past, Kanjani8 has provided "King of Otoko!" for 'Mogura no Uta Sennyu Sousakan REIJI' in 2014 and "NOROSHI" for 'Mogura no Uta Hong Kong Kyousoukyoku' in 2016. Okura Tadayoshi, who was the main member in charge of working on "Inazuma Blues," commented, "As this is the FINAL film, we ordered a manly and flashy song to end the trilogy of our songs 'King of Otoko!' and 'NOROSHI'."
After hearing the song, Ikuta expressed, "The finishing blow that came from the best and strongest bond! Thank you, Kanjani8! I received your thoughts! I love you!"
