AKB48 Team 8's Yokoyama Yui has announced her graduation from the group.

Yokoyama made her debut as AKB48 Team 8's Aomori Prefecture representative in 2014. She was selected as a senbatsu member of the group's latest single "Ne mo Ha mo Rumor" and had been gaining attention for her dancing skills. On her reason for graduating, she explained, "I've spent seven years in AKB48 and have really experienced many things. While going through those experiences, I felt strongly to search for what I really want to do right now, and challenge myself. I want to work hard and aim to become an actress." 

Yokoyama's graduation concert will be held on November 29.
