Sakamoto Maaya has cancelled all of her appearances in the upcoming musical 'The Little Prince.'

The musical was scheduled to be shown from January 8 to 31 at Theater Crea in Tokyo, then from February 4 to 6 at NGK Spark Plug Civic Center in Aichi. Sakamoto was supposed to play the role of the Prince in a double cast with Doi Hiroko, but has cancelled her appearance due to health reasons. She will be replaced by Kato Ririka. 

On her official website, Sakamoto wrote, "I love 'The Little Prince,' which I myself was impressed by when I saw it at the theater as a child. I pray from the bottom of my heart that the performance will be a success."
