It's been revealed that Tamori has set the Guinness World Records for the 'Longest running live TV music show hosted by the same presenter' with TV Asahi's music program 'MUSIC STATION.' 

Tamori became the host of 'MUSIC STATION' on April 3, 1987. As of September 17, he has served as its presenter for 34 years and 168 days with a total of 1,365 broadcasts. This record will be published in the Japanese edition of the 'Guinness World Records 2022' to go on sale on November 17.

Previously, Tamori has set the Guinness World Records for the 'Longest continued hosting of a live television program' with Fuji TV's 'Waratte Iitomo!' He commented, "By no means am I complimenting myself, but I never thought I would set two records, so I am very honored."
