The nominees for 'LINE NEWS Presents: NEWS AWARDS 2021' have been announced.

A total of 35 individuals and groups have been nominated across seven different categories based on the number of articles published, the degree of attention compared to the previous year, and number of promotional videos. Those who received the most amount of attention on LINE NEWS will be selected among each category.

In addition, film director Iwai Shunji, TV producer Sakuma Nobuyuki, and music producer Tsunku have been appointed as the special advisors for the 'NEXT NEWS Award,' which commends people who might make the NEWS next year. The awards ceremony will be held on December 2nd, then those awarded with the 'Wadai no Hito Award' ('Popularity Award') and the 'NEXT NEWS Award' will meet on the 8th, and the 'LINE Journalism Award' and the 'LINE Media Award' on the 9th.
