It's been announced that Hamasaki Ayumi, who was hospitalized after suffering anaphylactic shock, will be resuming her activities.
As previously reported, Hamasaki suddenly felt ill after performing her concert on November 6 at Nippon Gaishi Hall. After being transported to the hospital, she learned that she had suffered from an anaphylactic shock. Under instruction from her doctor, her concert on the 7th at the same venue was cancelled.
After careful observation, Hamasaki received permission to be relocated, so she went to get a more detailed exam at a hospital in Tokyo. Her official website states, "Based on the diagnosis, she will be learning how to respond in emergency situations and how to deal with her illness. With the guidance of her doctor, she will be resuming her activities."
A few days before the incident, Hamasaki announced that she had fractured her ankle due to her own carelessness. She also gave an update on her ankle revealing that she will be undergoing surgery in the coming days.
Hamasaki's concerts on December 30 and 31 at Yoyogi National Stadium will be held as scheduled. Meanwhile, the cancelled concert at Nippon Gaishi Hall will be rescheduled for a later date.
Finally, a clip of Hamasaki performing in a wheelchair was uploaded onto her Instagram account. "I will definitely recover before the Yoyogi concerts," she commented.
