PES has announced that he has withdrawn from RIP SLYME in 2017.

According to his official website, PES found it difficult to continue his activities in RIP SLYME due to various reasons, so he resigned from both his agency and the group in September of 2017. He had been looking for a way to notify his fans, but he felt he wasn't in the position to make the announcement and didn't want to be involved with the group anymore. Due to the delayed announcement, PES would receive negative opinions when the members would say or do something that made it seem like the five of them would be getting together to do something. 

Meanwhile, ILMARI, RYO-Z, and DJ FUMIYA have been regularly holding Instagram lives. PES learned that they had mentioned something about calling PES and "one other former member." As such, PES requested to join the live to directly ask why they keep talking about him even though he had asked them not to and how they feel when talking about him. However, they did not approve his request. 

Ultimately, PES decided to announce he had withdrawn from the group a few years back. He commented, "I felt it would be dangerous if things progressed, and it became my moral responsibility. By approaching them publicly, I wanted to give everyone watching something to help them set their opinions, which is why I made this move. After that, I have been sounding them out, trying to create an opportunity to talk through an acquaintance, but I haven't gotten any response. I believe that is their final answer toward me."
