Yamaguchi Tatsuya's son Shotaro to make his debut in Hawaii's first boy group

TH STAFF

It's been revealed that former TOKIO member Yamaguchi Tatsuya's eldest son Shotaro (13) has joined a new boy group in Hawaii and will be making his debut.

This was announced by Yamaguchi's ex-wife who currently lives in Hawaii. On Instagram, she wrote, "At this time, my eldest son Shotaro has become a member of a group called CROSSING RAIN. In February, I received word of this group's formation. I inquired about what this group was going to deliver to the world, and the reason why my son was selected. The group's goals and future visions. He [Shotaro] originally had a big theme which was the number one goal in his life. That matched the group's vision exactly, so he made the decision himself, and told me his intent of joining the group.

She continued, "There will be various experiences awaiting my son in the future, but it would make me happy if you would please watch over him warmly."

Another post explains the group's objective, "This is Hawaii's first boy group that aims to share Aloha spirit with people all over the world, and deliver messages of love and hope through music and dance. Their group name 'CROSSING RAIN' means to share ALOHA, and deliver healing and hope to the world.

Shotaro also wrote on Instagram, "Hi I’m Shotaro! Very excited to start this journey."
