Actor Kitamura Ryo and actress Tano Asami have announced their marriage.

In a handwritten statement, the couple commented, "In our limited lifetime, we want to push forward and face our work, and do our best with gratitude and love in our hearts. It would make us happy if you would please watch over us warmly." 

Besides stage plays, Kitamura has starred in 'Touken Ranbu the Movie: Keisho,' 'Ghost Diaries,' and 'Motomen ni Yobidasaretara, Sokowa Ijigen Kukan Datta.' His latest starring film 'Success Sou the Movie: Shinryakusha S to Nishi Ogikubo no Kiseki' is due out in theaters nationwide on December 31. Meanwhile, Tano has been active in various fields including anime, stage plays, and films with her most prominent work being 'Smile Precure!'
