AKB48 member Yasuda Kana has announced her graduation from the group.

The 16th generation member explained, "I apologize for surprising you with this sudden announcement. I have found something new that I want to try and felt strongly to work hard towards it, so I have decided to graduate." She shouted out to her fans, "Thank you very much for finding me and supporting me!" 

Yasuda is scheduled to graduate in mid-March.
