Professional baseball player Genda Sosuke's wife former Nogizaka46 member Eto Misa (29) has announced that she has given birth to their first child, a baby boy. 

Eto reported, "The other day, our first child, a healthy baby boy was born into our family. Both myself and my baby are healthy. Labor and delivery were harder than I had imagined, but the moment I first met our baby, I was very happy and moved. It was a wonderful moment."

She continued, "Soon after I learned about my pregnancy, I suffered from morning sickness. What was most painful was when my husband was at the Olympics. Tears filled my eyes every time I recalled the times I endured things by myself, but the moment I first held my son, I was so happy and cried endlessly thinking, 'I was able to meet this baby because I was able to overcome those times!' I didn't endure them by myself. This baby was next to me the whole time. I was able to realize the greatness of my son's existence."

Eto went on to thank all of her fans and especially her husband for all of their support during her pregnancy. Congratulations!
