As COVID-19 cases reach an all-time high in Japan, celebrities one after another have been confirming their positive diagnoses.

Comedians newly infected with the virus include Nishikawa Norio, Kamigata Yoshio, Okubo Kayoko (Oasis), Chihara Junior (Chihara Kyodai), Suzuki Q-Taro (Hiking Walking), Takechi (Super Maradona), Kanemitsu Takashi (Plus Minus), Mori Shintaro (Doburock), Kawamura Emiko (Tampopo), Urai Norihiro (Dansei Buranko), and more. 

As for actors, Terawaki Yasufumi, Fukada Kyoko, and Yoshioka Riho, along with freelance reporter Furutachi Ichiro, talent Yasuda Misako, model / talent Michopa, and boys group OWV members Honda Kosuke, Nakagawa Katsunari, and Sano Fumiya have all announced that they have tested positive for the virus.  

Meanwhile, Downtown's Matsumoto Hitoshi revealed that he's a close contact, so he will be isolating at home for ten days.
