It's been reported AKB48 member Oguri Yui (20) has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the group's official blog, Oguri broke out with a fever so she conducted the PCR test when she learned that she was positive for the virus. She will act accordingly under the guidance of the health center.

Consequently, AKB48's New Year's concerts on February 5 and 6 at Tokyo Garden Theater have been cancelled. "To everyone who was looking forward to it, we sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement. We kindly ask for your understanding," the blog states.
