Former Morning Musume member Fukuda Asuka has announced her divorce.

On her Instagram account, Fukuda explained, "Last year, I married a man who had supported me after I had gotten sick and spent my time commuting to a hospital. However, I would like to announce that we have divorced by mutual agreement. I worry about trivial things, and he is busy flying around for work and overseas exchange. Our pace didn't match, and there were miscommunications due to our busy lives. We weren't able to build a foundation to our family." 

Fukuda first marriage lasted from spring of 2015 to July of 2016. She announced her remarriage last November.
