A collaboration with Yonashiro Sho and Kono Junki members of the J-pop idol group JO1 and the pianist and composer Sawano Hiroyuki [nZk] through "OUTSIDERS" has finally materialized.

"OUTSIDERS" is part of the vocal project of Sawano Hiroyuki [nZk] who has participated in various popular anime several times, one of which is "Attack on Titan".

This song will be included in the musician's 11th single released on May 25, 2022, to coincide with JO1's comeback through the album "KIZUNA".

Before the song was released, Sawano Hiroyuki [nZk] first uploaded the "OUTSIDERS" music video through his YouTube page on Saturday (9/4) night.

The 2:52 minute music video showcases powerful vocals, including Yonashiro and Kono's ability to hit high notes while accompanied by Sawano's piano.
The cinematography of the music video is beautifully made through various camera angle and type shoot techniques and the combination of a black and white background creates an emotional impression. This impression is also supported by the two JO1 members when expressing songs in all black clothes.
"OUTSIDERS" is the second duet work of Yonashiro Sho and Kono Junki after "My Friends" which is part of the JO1 ATELIER project.

The song is the ending theme for the anime "Gunjou no Fanfare" which premiered this April. Different from most of JO1's songs, "OUTSIDERS" has more English lyrics.
Previously, JO1 released "Move The Soul" which is also the soundtrack for the anime "Gunjou no Fanfare" on April 3, 2022, followed by a performance video three days later. The song "Move The Soul" describes the pursuit of dreams into an unknown world.
