On April 26th, Johnny's & Associates announced that Kanjani8 member Maruyama Ryuhei has been confirmed positive for COVID-19.

According to the announcement, Maruyama had a fever of 38.6°C (101.48 °F) on the morning of the 26th. After conducting a PCR test, he was confirmed positive for the virus. He will be recuperating and observing further symptoms for the time being. 

Johnny's & Associates explained that they wanted to make the announcement as soon as possible, so they have not been able to identify close contacts yet.
