It's been announced that Kanjani8 member Okura Tadayoshi will be going on temporary hiatus due to tinnitus.
According to Johnny's & Associates, Okura had been regularly visiting a hospital when he started having symptoms of tinnitus a year and a half ago. Earlier this month, his symptoms worsened so he was examined again when he was diagnosed with low-tone sensorineural hearing loss in the right ear and tinnitus in both ears.
Kanjani8 is scheduled to hold their stadium live '18-sai' this July. Okura's hiatus was decided so that he would be able to appear on this stage in perfect condition. Until his return, Yokoyama Yu, Murakami Shingo, Maruyama Ryuhei, and Yasuda Shota will run Kanjani8 as a four-member group.
