SKE48 member Furuhata Nao has announced her graduation from the group.
This announcement was made on May 17 during Team KII's performance 'Saishuu Bell ga Naru' at SKE48 Theater. Furuhata commented, "I will be putting an end to my career in SKE48, which lasted about 11 years. However, until my graduation, there are a lot of things including the release of my photo book, events, solo lives, conversational plays starring Furuhata, singing ability live as well as things that haven't even been announced yet. The remaining time I have left as an idol is full of work that I will carry out with no regrets." Her graduation will take place at the end of September.
Furuhata joined SKE48 as its fifth generation member in October of 2011. She was in the senbatsu for the first time in AKB48's 34th single "Kimi no Hohoemi wo Yume ni Miru" (released in December of 2013) and served as center in SKE48's 25th single "FRUSTRATION" (May of 2019). Her first photo book "Kanjo no Kyokai-sen" will be published on May 31.
