On May 1st, Stardust Promotion announced that actress Omasa Aya (31) has been infected with COVID-19.

According to the announcement, Omasa broke out with a fever on April 29th so she conducted the PCR test when she learned that she had been infected with the virus. She is currently recuperating under guidance of the health center and medical institution. 

Stardust Promotion apologized for causing worry and trouble to fans and all persons concerned, and stressed that they will continue to prioritize controlling the spread.
