It's been announced that Kuroki Keiji (EXILE, EXILE THE SECOND) will be leaving LDH JAPAN and retiring from showbiz at the end of October.
According to LDH's official website, Kuroki and his agency had numerous discussions regarding his activities and future. Respecting his thoughts and visions for the future as well as his decision to step down, it was decided that he end his artist activities at the timing of EXILE's 20th anniversary. He will graduate from EXILE after their dome tour 'EXILE LIVE TOUR 2022 ~POWER OF WISH~,' leave LDH JAPAN, and retire completely from showbiz.
Kuroki explained, "I had thought about the timing of retirement since a few years ago. Being a performer, I had dedicated my life to deliver my best to the fans, but recently, I have started to feel the limits due to my age and physical strength. Before I am unable to deliver my best performance, I decided to take the opportunity of EXILE's 20th anniversary to retire." He added, "I had challenged myself to various fields of work including acting and variety, but before I am an entertainer, I am a performer for EXILE. I have my own passion and pride; therefore, if I am going to retire as a performer, I felt should step down from all stages. I wanted to make that clear distinction to both myself and my fans."
Finally, he said, "After I retire, I will support my family and do my best to contribute to society in another way. It would make me happy if you would watch over me warmly."
