On June 28, actress & singer Kamishirashi Mone's agency announced that the 24-year-old has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. 

Kamishiraishi currently stars in the stage play 'Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi' shown at the Misonoza in Nagoya. Shows scheduled from June 25th to July 2 were cancelled after several persons involved with the stage tested positive for COVID-19.

Kamishiraishi will be recuperating and observing her symptoms under guidance of the health center. She commented, "To everyone looking forward to the play, as well as everyone involved with the play, I am sorry for the inconvenience caused at this time. I will make efforts to recover while praying from the bottom of my heart that the shows will resume and the work that I love will be delivered to many people."
