It's been announced that Sakurazaka46 member Ozeki Rika will graduate from the group.

On her official blog, Ozeki reported, "I will graduate from Sakurazaka46 after completing activities related to our first album to be released on August 3. First of all, I was able to carry out my activities for the past seven years thanks to my fans who cheered me on no matter what, as well as the staff who have continued to support me, the beloved members with beautiful hearts, my family and friends who supported me nearby, and everyone else involved. Thank you always!"

On her reason for graduating, she explained, "I have experienced various things during these seven years. In order not to lose those important things that I've gained and in order to live as myself, I decided to part ways with this industry, not go against my feelings, and spend my time at ease," hinting that she might retire from showbiz.

Ozeki passed Keyakizaka46's audition in August of 2015 joining the group as its first generation member. She went on hiatus from May to July of last year due to her poor health condition.
