It's been announced that six members of AKB48 have tested positive for COVID-19.

The members who have been confirmed positive for the virus are Team A's Chiba Erii, Ma Chia-Ling, Mukaichi Mion, and Yoshihashi Yuzuka, Team B's Asai Nanami, and Team 8's Kuranoo Narumi. They will be isolating while following instructions from the health center and medical institutions. Just to be safe, Team 8's Sakaguchi Nagisa will also temporarily refrain from her activities 

Consequently, Asai Team B's 'Idol no Yoake' show on the 29th, as well as Kuranoo Team 4's 'Thumbnail' show on the 30th have been cancelled. Meanwhile, Mukaichi Team A's 'Juryoku Sympathy' show on July 4th has been changed to the 'Boku no Taiyou' show. Any other changes and cancellations to additional shows will be announced at a later date.
