It's been announced that ANGERME member Matsumoto Wakana has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the group's official website, Matsumoto had a low-grade fever and sore throat on the 13th. She took a PCR test and learned that she had been infected with the virus. As such, she will be recuperating at home for the required period of time. 

UpFront Promotion has decided that all other members of ANGERME are close contacts. The members are not experiencing any symptoms at the moment. Consequently, they have cancelled the Hiroshima concert of their tour 'ANGERME CONCERT TOUR ~The ANGERME Encore~' on the 16th, as well as the event 'M-line Special 2022 ~My Wish~' starring members Sasaki Rikako and Kamikokuryo Moe that was scheduled on the 17th at NHK Osaka Hall.
