On July 26, DAIGO updated his Instagram account celebrating his older sister, manga artist Eiki Eiki's (50) marriage.

DAIGO shared a photo of himself and his sister in a wedding dress saying, "The other day, my sister Eiki Eiki got married." He continued to express, "She's always worked hard as a manga artist and lived her life the way she wants. She can't adjust to other people, and in the past, she's called me to seriously talk about her obsession with Aslan. I didn't think she would get married to anybody, but to think that the day would come when I get to see my sister in a wedding dress. I am glad that you met a wonderful person and was able to get married at this turning point of 50. Congratulations!"

Eiki also announced her marriage to a non-celebrity man via her blog. She introduced him saying, "I met him in October of last year through an acquaintance. He's one year older, loves UC Gundam, and is really really nice. He said it's alright if I can't go any household chores. He's so kind. I love him. It was kind of a speed marriage." 

She even shared a photo of herself with DAIGO's wife, actress Kitagawa Keiko revealing, "Keiko-chan always cheered me on and encouraged me. On that day, she cried tears of happiness. I instinctively hugged her. She's too cute. I also asked her to be a witness on the marriage registration papers."
