
On June 30th, Chiba Prefectural police arrested former KAT-TUN member Tanaka Koki (36) on suspicion of violating the Stimulants Control Law.
According to police, Tanaka was found on the 29th acting unnaturally outside of Kashiwa Station around 10:00 pm. Officers approached and questioned him, but he did not respond. He even refused to an inspection of his personal belongings.
Upon receiving a search warrant, police found a plastic bag containing crystal powder between his right hip and pants. Later, it was confirmed that the powder he was carrying was stimulants.
Tanaka was previously arrested on February 24th for possessing stimulants at a Nagoya hotel. He was just convicted on the 20th for this case and was sentenced to 20 months in prison, suspended for three years.
