Johnny's & Associates announced on July 1st that KAT-TUN member Ueda Tatsuya has been infected with COVID-19.

According to the announcement, Ueda had a fever of 37.1°C (98.78°F) and a sore throat on June 30th. After getting a PCR test, he was confirmed positive for the virus. He will be recuperating and monitoring his symptoms for the time being. 

After Ueda's positive diagnosis, KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya was tested as well. Both tests on June 30 and July 1 came back negative. 

Previously, Nakamaru Yuichi tested positive for the virus. At the time, Ueda and Kamenashi were not determined to be close contacts.
