Netflix has announced that Kitamura Takumi (DISH//) will be playing Urameshi Yusuke in its upcoming 'Yu Yu Hakusho' live-action series.

'Yu Yu Hakusho' is a popular manga series written by Togashi Yoshihiro that was serialized in 'Shukan Shonen Jump' from 1990 to 1994. It captured the hearts of readers with its ever-changing characters and powerful battle scenes. 

Kitamura commented, "I believe that Japan should disseminate to the world more and more, so I am happy to share the masterpiece of 'Yu Yu Hakusho' in live-action form. I hope that Japanese entertainment will spread even more!"

'Yu Yu Hakusho' will be coming to Netflix in December of 2023.
