It's been announced that NGT48 member Nishimura Nanako will be graduating from the group in late September. 

On NGT48's official website, Nishimura commented, "I had made the decision to graduate when I reached the time when I felt that I gave it my all as an idol, and when I made preparations to move toward my next step. And that time has come, so I made this decision at this time." She continued to express, "By no means was I a central member or a member who stood at the forefront, but I can confidently say that I have done all I can." After graduation, Nishimura hopes to continue working in showbiz. 

Nishimura joined NGT48 after passing its first generation audition in 2013. After three years as a kenkyusei, she was promoted to an official member in April of 2018.
