On August 2nd, Fujiwara Tatsuya's agency announced that the actor has tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to his agency, Fujiwara started having sore throat symptoms on the 1st. He was tested the following day when he learned that he had contracted the virus. He is currently recuperating. 

Fujiwara currently stars in the stage play 'Harry Potter to Noroi no Ko.' After his positive diagnosis, all shows until the 10th have been cancelled. Cancellations of shows scheduled from the 11th onward will be announced at a later date.
