AKB48's Muto Tomu has announced her graduation from the group.

Muto made the announcement to her fans on October 8 during 'MX Matsuri! AKB48 60th Single Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss Release Concert in Budokan ~Revenge! Coupling Request Hour Best 30~' held at the Nippon Budokan. She then wrote on the group's official website, "There were many fun things as well as painful things that happened these past 11 years, but everything was a good experience, and has given me power." 

Muto, who is a certified weather reporter, continued, "Many things happened during my life as an idol, but I will do my best to end it by bringing clear weather into everyone's hearts. Please continue to support me until the end!"

Details on her graduation concert will be revealed at a later date.
