It's been reported that Sexy Zone member Nakajima Kento will be making his overseas drama debut. He will be one of the main cast in the drama series 'Concordia' by Emmy Award-winning producer Frank Doelger ('Game of Thrones').

'Concordia' (tentative title, 6 episodes) will be produced by Intaglio Films based in Berlin, Germany. It is scheduled to be distributed worldwide in 2024 and will be distributed exclusively on Hulu in Japan. 

The drama depicts Concordia, a surveillance society that utilizes AI technology, and its crisis of collapse. Nakajima will play AJ Ohba, a genius who completed his degree in computer science at Stanford University at just 16 years old. He is the chief technology officer and the creator of the AI system that is at the core of Concordia.

Nakajima started learning English about two years ago to fulfill his dream of starring in an overseas drama. When searching for a Japanese actor to play the character Ohba, Doelger received a video of Nakajima's acting and singing, and decided to cast him. 

On his dreams coming true, Nakajima expressed, "As an actor, I was very honored. I was exhilarated when happiness and nervousness hit me all at once." After his first day of shooting in Rome, Italy, he commented, "Acting is universal. I gave it 120%!"
