Sakurai Sho has been cast in NTV's upcoming drama series 'Dai Byoin Senkyo' to premiere in January of next year.

'Dai Byoin Senkyo' is set in a major hospital, which is infiltrated and taken over by a mysterious armed group wearing devil masks. Investigator Musashi Saburo (Sakurai) and his team must confront the criminals and reveal the truth within a set time limit. 

On receiving the offer to take the lead role, Sakurai commented, "I honestly thought it would be interesting. It's an all-original work with a huge sense of scale. Like watching a ten-hour film, you are constantly curious about what happens next."
