Taketatsu Ayana and Kaji Yuki have welcomed their first child!

On her Instagram account, Taketatsu expressed, "I gave birth without any problems the other day. Fortunately, both myself and baby are healthy and doing well! To all persons concerned who cooperated with me up to delivery. To all healthcare workers who supported me so I could give birth with a peace of mind. To everyone who always warmly cheered us on. Thank you very much."

She added, "Right now, I am carefully taking care of this precious life that was just born and cherishing each day. I am still working on recovering in order to return to work, but I hope to grow as a human being, an actor, as well as a mom from now on." 

Similarly, Kaji updated his Twitter account, saying, "I feel like the meaning of the word 'precious' has changed a little bit. I am grateful for everyone's thoughtfulness. Also, to my senpai nationwide who are raising children, thank you for your hard work! This is hard! But I'm happy! Our battle begins now!"
