On December 22, former SKE48 member Sato Seira updated her Instagram account, announcing that she had gotten married in February and is currently pregnant with her first child.  

As they are cat lovers, the couple registered their marriage on February 22, 2022, calling it "super cat day" as six 2's line up (the word for number 2 sounds close to the Japanese word for meow). She introduced her husband, saying, "He manages a company," continuing with, "He is not in our industry, so I will refrain from publicizing his photos, etc." 

Sato also revealed, "He and I have been blessed with our first child. We are spending our days peacefully in mind and body. I have already entered my stable period and am scheduled to give birth in April of next year. We will become a very lively family with 3 people and 2 cats. We will continue to spend our days full of smiles and laughing together about silly things."
