On December 27, Nogizaka46's Yoda Yuki updated her official blog explaining her relationship with her personal trainer, which was recently reported by Shukan Bunshun.

Yoda wrote, "The other day, a reporter from Shukan Bunshun came to my house, and asked regarding my relationship with a trainer at a gym that I go to. Today, I saw that article. Before I am looked at with suspicion, I wanted to report the truth from my own mouth." In recent years, Yoda has been going to the gym a lot, sometimes even six times a week. She even started going to a personal gym this summer. "The trainer that was assigned to me is also a representative of that gym. Recently, we have gotten close, like local friends from my hometown," she revealed. 

 She denied that she was in a romantic relationship with the trainer saying, "We have gone out to eat with staff from the gym, and we have even gone out to eat with just the two us. To me, it was just like having a meal with a staff. Since he is my personal trainer, I did not have any special feelings going out to eat with him. We are not involved romantically, nor have we done anything that we should feel guilty about." 

Meanwhile, Yoda apologized about her actions, "He has supported me with training outside of work, and there was one time we had a year-end party by ordering UberEats and watching TV after training at the gym. He is always kind, and I am grateful to him. So I feel very sorry that my actions have caused inconvenience and concern to both him and all of my fans. From now on, even if we are just friends, I will think carefully about my position before taking action, so that I won't cause trouble like this again."
