Actor Hayashi Kento (32) and actress Oshima Yuko (34) have announced the birth of their first child!

In a joint statement, the couple reported, "Happy New Year. At this time, our first child has been born. We are very happy to report this to all of you. Both mom and baby are healthy, and we were able to welcome the new year together."

They continued to express, "We are grateful to all persons concerned, and to the doctors who kindly took care of us. From now on, we will cherish each day even more, and continue to do our best." 

Hayashi and Oshima began dating after co-starring in NHK's morning drama 'Scarlet.' They announced their marriage on July 29, 2021, then their pregnancy in August of last year.
