On January 15th, Arashi's Sakurai Sho (41) announced via Johnny & Associates that he has welcomed his first child.

In the announcement, Sakurai wrote, "At this time, my first child has been born. With renewed thoughts, I will properly face this brand new life that is small enough to settle in my arms." 

Sakurai married a non-celebrity woman in September of 2021. His wife gave birth to their newborn at a hospital in Tokyo. Both mom and baby are healthy and doing well. No other details such as the baby's sex or birthdate have been revealed at this time.

Following Ninomiya Kazunari (39) and Aiba Masaki (40), Sakurai is the third member of Arashi to become a dad. Congratulations!
