Lyricist and record producer Akimoto Yasushi joined Instagram (@yasushi5057) on March 9. 

For his first post, Akimoto shared a photo of himself and former HKT48 member Sashihara Rino saying, "I started Instagram." While he has accounts on Google+ and 755, this is his first account on a major social media platform. In addition to Sashihara, he is following the accounts of former AKB48 members Takahashi Minami, Kojima Haruna, and Minegishi Minami as well as other celebrities, such as Saitoh Takumi and Wentz Eiji.
