NGT48 member Nakai Rika has announced her graduation from the group. 

This announcement was made on April 12 during the group's sixth anniversary event for "Seishun Dokei," their debut single which Nakai served as the center. She planned this event as anniversaries of debut singles are often not celebrated. With one song remaining, Nakai reported to her fans, "With this, I have an announcement. I, Nakai Rika, will graduate from NGT48." 

She expressed, "If I wasn't a member of NGT48, I wouldn't have been protected to this point. I wouldn't have been able to announce my graduation with a smile. Please continue to support me during the time I have left, and going forward. I know I have made some people sad, but I had the best time as an idol. I have no regrets." 

Nakai then wrapped up the event by giving a solo performance of "Seishun Dokei." She is planning to continue her activities until this summer. Details regarding her graduation date and concert will be announced at a later date.
