On June 7, actress Tanaka Misako (63) and Fukasawa Kuniyuki (56) of comedian duo Take2 announced their divorce via their respective Instagram accounts. 

Tanaka reported, "I would like to take this opportunity to make an announcement. Papa and I have decided to separate. I'm sure some of you are surprised because this is so sudden, but it has taken many years for us to reach this point." 

She continued, "To our friends who always supported us and to all work-related persons and many people who took care of us, we are deeply sorry that we have come to this conclusion. Both papa and I were in pain because we weren't able to talk about it. We are very sorry."

Finally, she expressed, "Someone advised me that this is a positive thing in life, so I made the decision to announce it like this. Please support papa and I as before. Thank you very much until now. It's been over 33 years since meeting papa who was a college student at the time. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. Thank you."

Tanaka and Fukasawa married in 1995 and have one daughter together.
