AKB48 member Mogi Shinobu has announced her graduation from the group. 

This announcement was made on August 15 during the group's 'Boku no Taiyou' show at AKB48 Theater. On the group's official website, she expressed, "I am full of gratitude for my fans, the AKB48 members, and everyone I have met until now. Thank you very much!" 

Mogi passed AKB48's 13th generation kenkyusei audition in September of 2011. Later she became an official member for Team 4 in August of 2013. She landed the lead role in the stage play 'Curtain Call,' which took place in March of 2019, and was selected in the senbatsu for the first time after 11 years in their 60th single "Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss" released in October of 2022. 

Mogi's graduation will take place after January of 2024. More details will be announced at a later date.
