On August 29, actress Tsuchiya Tao (28) and her husband, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE member Katayose Ryota (29) updated their Instagram accounts announcing the birth of their first child. 

Tsuchiya expressed, "On an ongoing hot & beautiful autumn day, we were very blessed to welcome a new life into this world. It was truly like a sequence of many miracles at once. We are happy and very grateful to be surrounded with such warm advice from so many people in the midst of these trying days. We want to guarantee our loved ones that we will do our best to nurture this precious life with our minds at peace."

She continued, "Life is full of beginnings, and experiencing new things for the first time is one of the utter joys of living. This beautiful life we have brought in to this world will encounter many unexpected things in the future, but we want to make sure we provide all the love and protection to overcome anything. And while nurturing each moment with this heavenly encounter, we ourselves will continue to make the utmost effort as parents as well as performing artists. We will continue to grow and learn more for the benefit of all."

Katayose posted almost the same exact message, but also added, "While tackling to bring in a new life during these bustling days, miraculously, on the day I celebrate my 29th birthday, we are overflowing with gratitude to be able and make this announcement to those who have been watching over and protecting us throughout all these years." 

Tsuchiya and Katayose co-starred in the film 'Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu' (2017) then tied the knot on January 1 of this year. At the time, they also announced that they were expecting a baby together.
