Asahi Group Holdings recently made a big announcement that they will not be featuring any talents from Johnny & Associates in their ads anymore. They're also phasing out their current TV and web ads that feature these talents. They're not going to cut ties with existing talents prematurely, but they won't renew contracts as they expire.

Why this change? Well, after Johnny's & Associates held a press conference, Asahi Group decided that there haven't been clear efforts to fix issues and provide victim relief. It goes against their company's "human rights policy" to keep doing business with them. So, all ads with J&A talents, including TV and web ads, and even in-store stuff, are getting the boot.

Asahi Group is basically saying, "We want Johnny's Office to take swift action to prevent this from happening again and make things right for the victims."

They used to work with 23 talents from J&A, like Junichi Okada, Toma Ikuta, and Sho Sakurai.
