French luxury jewelry brand Cartier has announced on September 12 that they have canceled the appearance of Yuta Tamamori from Kis-My-Ft2, who was scheduled to attend an upcoming event.
Regarding the cancellation, Cartier responded to inquiries from Sports Hochi, saying, "Mr. Tamamori is not under an advertising contract, but was scheduled to appear as a guest. However, in light of the recent sexual harassment issues involving Johnny's Entertainment, we have decided to cancel Mr. Tamamori's appearance."
In relation to Johnny's Entertainment, Suntory Holdings announced on the 11th that they would not enter into new contracts in response to the sexual harassment issues involving the agency. Currently, they are using Hokuto Matsumura from SixTONES for advertising their non-alcoholic beer "All-Free," but the existing contract will expire upon completion of its term.
