In a chilling incident that transpired during the early hours of October 26, 2023, a shocking case unfolded in Shimabara, Nagasaki. Police took a man into custody on suspicion of fatally stabbing his younger brother.

Around 2:30 a.m. on the 26th, an anguished mother urgently called 119, reporting her son's severe chest wound and profuse bleeding. Emergency responders arrived at a residence in Shimabara City, discovering the lifeless body of 31-year-old Yuji Miyamoto, who succumbed to his injuries.

The household consisted of five individuals, including Miyamoto, his parents, his elder brother, and his sister. During questioning, the 37-year-old elder brother shockingly confessed, stating, "There is no doubt that I killed him." Consequently, authorities arrested the older brother on suspicion of repeatedly stabbing Yuji in the chest and other areas with a kitchen knife.
